Tickets are live!
Prepping for my June 4th release show
As promised, I am shouting from the metaphorical internet rooftops as loudly as I possibly can that tickets to my EP release at the OG basement on June 4 are now LIVE!

I have dreams of selling this thing out and I think it’s possible if you’re there. So come if you’re in favor of making cool things happen and supporting your friends. Come if you want to hear me sing happy birthday to one of my nearest and dearest who is sharing her special day with me at the show. Come if you want to hear Saint Lavender, my opener, rock your socks off. Come if you want to meet my parents. Come if you just want to sing along to Shark and wave your phone flashlight back and forth.
Side note: I was at the basement last week for a different concert and the show ended with the band crowdsurfing a large stuffed Buc-Ee’s beaver through the venue. Do not come to my show for that. That will not be happening if I have any say in the matter.
Putting the puzzle pieces together…
T-7 weeks + a day until showtime.
Since confirming the venue for my show last week, my mind has been spinning with all of the things that I need to do before June 4.
I was talking to my friend Lucius yesterday and he called this portion of the newsletter “the director’s cut”, where I unveil my creative process as I prep for the show.
My priorities for this show are to have too much fun and sound amazing doing it. Easier said than done.
The large web of mayhem in mind includes me trying to figure out a number of details ranging from as small as remembering to order lunalay matchboxes to sell at my merch table to choosing my hour-long setlist. While it’s a lot to think through, I’ve been so energized by the task of figuring it all out. I’ve been waiting so long, alongside many of you, to release this music in it’s entirety and it’s finally happening. I get to do to the thing I’ve invested over a years worth of time prepping and finalizing, hopefully in a room full of my closest friends and family. Strangers are welcome too (aka, invite your friends). “Merch, music, rehearsal, promo, sales” will probably be on repeat in my head for the next two months. Best case scenario, it pays off and we all have the time of our lives! Worst case scenario, things fall through and I have a great time singing to Mamahammadi.
June 4th, here we come.

Praise God. I can't wait to see you on that stage. Love you. Congratulations!!!!
